Dark Britain, the podcast that looks back on, and tells the stories of the darker parts of Britain’s history. Most of the time, true crime stops at around the 60s or 70s, with the notable exception of Jack the Ripper. We wanted to traverse the entirety of British history, bringing out the darker parts and shedding some much-needed light on them. Listen to Season One here.

Wicked Women: The Podcast was started by Grace Beattie in 2021. Through her interviews with leading experts and historians, she examines the lives of so-called 'wicked women' throughout history. They were adulterers, murderers, mistresses, religious zealots, thieves and traitors. But, they were also queens, wives and mothers. These are women whose legacies have been marred by history. They are known as 'Wicked Women'. This podcast joined the Present History Network in February 2023! Listen to it here!

In Tales of Albion we will open the tomes of the ancients, the annals of the heroes, the lore of the monsters, to understand who we are and where we’ve come from.
These stories will be grounded in historical realism, with fact a foundation, but conclusion left to the listener. We will not tell you what to believe, but we will ask you to grant us one thing: suspend the skepticism for a time, and allow yourself to, if only for a moment, really ask the question: what if?
This is a brand new podcast from Present History, in association with Albion Press. This is unlike anything we've done before. Listen here!
